These ingredients can also help in boosting their immune system, soothe a sore throat, and reduce the inflammation.
If you want to have additional antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, you can mix honey on their drinks. However, keep in mind that it’s not advisable to give honey to a child that is below one year old.
Have a Comforting Bath
A warm and comforting bath helps to fight the symptoms of cold and reduce fever. It makes them feel refreshed. Some parents may consider adding Epsom salt or a few drops of essential oil like tea tree, lavender, and rosemary that gives a more soothing effect.
Overall, you may want to let your kids have some rest! Have them spend a day in the bed and don’t let them play outside while they are still sick. If they will have enough energy, then it’s easier to recover and feel stronger!
